Coming Soon: Broken Women – a Romance

The naming contest for the ‘bar’ in my upcoming lesfic romance novel, ‘Broken Women’ is over. The lucky winner is Debs Amishaw for her submission, ‘Steamboat Willie’s’. It has all sorts of cool connotations including the local connection (the fictional tavern is set in Steamboat Springs, Colorado), the whole Disney/Mickey thing and, of course, all the things you could think of when you think of a bar full of gay men, ahem! Anyway, Debs wins her choice of either a paperback copy or a Kindle eBook copy of the book when it comes out in mid to late April for the Kindle and Kindle Unlimited.

So, you didn’t win? If you still want your own copy of ‘Broken Women’ in paperback or via PDF and you’re willing to provide an honest review on Amazon U.S. while the book is available for pre-sale in early to mid-April, I’ll have a limited number of Advance Reader Copies available. For readers in Canada, the U.K. and Australia willing to provide honest reviews on those Amazon sites, a limited number of PDF copies will be available to you as well.

If you want to read this early, you’re willing to provide an honest review online and you’re willing to say you were given an advance copy of the book in exchange for an honest review and you can do it before the book goes live later in April, please email me via the contact form on this site or hit me up on [Facebook – link] and ask to review it. I’ll need your email address so I can get back to you.

Now, without further ado, here’s the working synopsis for the book:

Can two Women, unlucky in love, find solace in each other?

Where do you go when you lose everything? Who do you turn to next when nobody seems to want you for more than a causal fling?

When death unexpectedly takes the love of your life, the best you can do is to try to cope and to hold on to the good memories. When your beloved’s family takes everything else you have, hope is all that’s left…if you can hang on to that.

You’ve been smitten more than once. You’ve even been in love a time or two. The trouble is, your feelings are always only yours. Cupid’s arrow always fails to land.

Can two love weary people, from different worlds, find strength together? Can they find more and even a happily ever after?

Fans of the Morelville Mysteries mystery/romance series may recognize these two characters who played supporting roles in those books, but this novel stands alone.
